Grubbs FamilyJason Grubbs Senior Pastor
Jason grew up in Tennessee where his parents were directors of Christian homes for troubled teens and his father was a pastor. He was saved and baptized at a young age. As a Senior in high school, Jason felt God was calling him into the Gospel ministry. He met his wife, Joy, during high school and they began a close friendship that led them to the same Christian college, Crown College in Knoxville, TN in 1991. There, Joy majored in elementary education and Jason in pastoral theology. They were married in 1994. Jason finished his degree in 1995 and they began full time ministry at Shenandoah Baptist Church in 1996. Jason was the Associate Pastor for 11 years before becoming the Senior Pastor in 2007. He stayed in that position until 2010 when he became the Senior Pastor at Mt. Tabor.

Harrison Beckmann Music Director
Harrison comes from the St. Louis, Missouri area. He grew up as the oldest of five boys, serving actively in his small local church in a variety of ministries, including music, where he learned to play a variety of instruments. He asked God to save him right around his 7th birthday and was baptized shortly thereafter. Throughout his teen years he battled addiction to various sins, but grew spiritually through the mentoring influence of his Pastor and other faithful people in his church. It wasn’t until college, however, that he began to quit playing the game of Christian living and started to genuinely live a life for Jesus.

Kenny Froment Youth DirectorFroments
Kenny was born and raised in the large state of Rhode Island. At the age of 6 years old, Kenny’s mother showed him God’s plan of salvation. With full understanding of his need of a Savior he put his faith and trust in the saving work of Christ on the cross. A few years later, he was baptized by his Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Warwick, RI. Growing up in the church and under the spiritual influence of his youth pastor, Kenny grew in his desire to be in ministry. Kenny followed the Lord’s leading to Ankeny, IA where he attended Faith Baptist Bible College. He received a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral studies with an emphasis on youth ministries.

Joseph Allen Youth Director
Joseph “Joe” Allen was born in Danville, Illinois even though his parents lived in Covington, Indiana (still confused by this and not an Illini fan!). He has been a Hoosier the day he came home from the hospital. Being a pastor’s kid Joe lived in three different towns throughout childhood. After 7th grade he moved south to Linton, Indiana and claims that as his hometown. At the age of twelve Joe understood the gospel and his need for Jesus and repented of his sin. Through high school he struggled with sin and his walk with Christ and yet God still showed grace throughout his life. Joe ended up going to bible college in Ankeny, Iowa at Faith Baptist Bible College where he graduated in 2012 with a bachelors in Pastoral ministry with an emphasis on youth.
